To Whom It May Concern:
It can be safely concluded that the Arizona/NASA Space Grant Consortium website (http://spacegrant.arizona.edu) is 508 Compliant. Each individual page that is accessible to users through the Arizona Space Grant website has been tested for 508 compliance, clearing both automatic and manual checkpoints. Below is a screenshot for verification.
The screenshots provided in this document are both from the homepage for the Arizona Space Grant website. As stated before, each individual page was checked, and all issues were corrected and cleared. Each page recieved clearance under 508 Compliant Policies. Most pages did in fact receive warning, but this warning had little or nothing to do with the page being tested. For example, one of the warnings states "Make sure the page does not cause the screen to flicker rapidly," which has nothing to do what so ever with the page content or layout.
Other warning were directed towards our images. Our Images are provided, not for conveying important information, but for displaying members affected by the consortium. The other warnings are also subjective in nature and not applicable to Arizona Space Grant’s website.
According to the WAC tutorial on making a website 508 compliant (http://www.wac.ohio-state.edu/tutorials/section508/testing.htm), the Arizona/NASA Space Grant consortium is eligible to display the “508 Bobby Approved” icon on its web pages if it desires to do so.
