At the annual meeting of the National Space Grant Directors' Council this past week, Tim and Susan had the privilege of attending a wonderful awards banquet to honor this year's Space Grant Distinguished Service awardee Katherine Johnson. Katherine is the main character of the movie "Hidden Figures". She is 98 years old, so attended the DC event via a wonderful video produced by our colleagues in the VA Space Grant Consortium. In addition, Katherine's two daughters attended and spoke to our group on her behalf (also recorded for dissemination). As so many of us are moved and inspired by the story imparted in the movie, we want to share these videos with you!
