There will be a program banquet at the Doubletree Hotel (at Reid Park) on Friday, April 16, 2010, and the symposium will run the next day, April 17, from about 8:30AM until 4:00PM at the Kuiper Space Sciences Building on the University of Arizona campus.

All students are required to submit a short 150 word abstract summarizing research accomplishments via a web based form.

This form also has sections for students to select meal options, etc. There is a FIRM abstract due date of March 22, 2010. The following document provides helpful hints about writing abstracts and later for completing PowerPoint presentations for the symposium:

This year we also have an online symposium and banquet registration form for mentors, which is due April 1, 2010.

At the symposium on April 17, each student will be allotted about 7 minutes to make an oral presentation about his or her research. We urge presentations to be constructed in PowerPoint for projection in meeting rooms. Electronic versions of PowerPoint presentations must be submitted online by April 12, 2010

All presentations will be loaded on conference computers ahead of time, and the April 12 deadline will be enforced. We simply do not have the person-power to accept presentations for loading onto conference computers on the Symposium day, so thank you in advance for planning for, preparing and submitting your presentation by the due date.

Thank you in advance for your attention to these matters and we anticipate an especially great symposium this year!
